THE BOSS

Micaela Ramirez, Founder & President
Micaela has always been a passionate believer in youth. In 2005, she received B.A.'s in Elementary and Spanish education. In 2014, she received her M.S. in Special Education with credentials in Mild, Moderate and Severe Disabilities. Through community and athlete support, she has been able to share her love with the youth teaching no goal or dream is too large to accomplish. Micaela donates most of her time sponsoring skate clinics and organizing professional athletes to speak about self-confidence and character building to the younger generations. She continues to travel the United States and the globe spreading the Poseiden Foundation’s philosophy.

Jen O'brien, Athlete Relations
Jen was the first female skateboarder to compete and win a medal in the X-Games. Since then, she has continued to pave the way for female skateboarders winning multiple first in her sport. She co-founded the Action Sports Coalition and which is a group dedicated to increase environmental awareness in board sports. She is also an outspoken advocate for non-GMO foods and an organic lifestyle within Action. She also urged the X-Games to up the prize purse and expand television coverage to female athletes. There is no question why she was inducted in the Skateboarding Hall of Fame in 2016 and continues to give back to the community.
BamBam Williams, Secretary

BamBam has supported Poseiden Foundation’s Ladies Day at The Berrics for 14 years. She also is a Sales/Brand Manager for a Harley-Davidson women’s apparel license company, a mix-media artist, and a promoter of art, music, and lifestyle. She founded Wicked Wahine in 2004, an organization devoted to bringing female skateboard athletes to the forefront of public awareness. She organized events such as clinics, demos, and contests across the US and Mexico for females as young as 3 years old to 50+ years old. It has been BamBam’s goal to create organized events that draw media coverage of all varieties so as to highlight the outstanding abilities and potential of women in the world of action sports.

Ambassadors
Currently, the Poseiden Foundation has 15 Ambassadors who represent 14 different countries from around the world. Each Ambassador contributes culturally specific insights to help Poseiden coordinate, host, and promote its humanitarian outreach events. This is done by broadcasting youth empowerment messages and inspiring youth to engage with their local communities. Together, through the shared platform of skateboarding, Ambassadors engage youth to pursue their passions, accomplish their dreams, and understand the importance of giving back.
